Our Staff

Whether at home or in a care facility or during a brief stay in the hospital, a little assistance can provide the important extras that can make each day easier. Short-term or long-term, our personalized home care services are there to assist you. We work with you, your family. And our caregivers and nurses to determine a plan of care that is specific to you.

All of our caregivers are Personal Support Workers or equivalent. This ensures that they have the knowledge and skills required to assist you in your daily routine. Whether you need help with home management, personal care, or activation, Alomcare is here for you. You determine the services you want to receive and we will work to ensure our services meet and surpass your needs. Most important of all is that your caregiver not only has the right skills but is also someone with whom you enjoy spending time.

Your Initial Consultation

At Alomcare are we encourage all our customers to become active in decision making helping to shape how their support is delivered. Following your initial contact, our team will arrange to carry out a no-obligation, free of cost, initial assessment home visit at your convenience. This initial assessment enables us to get a better understanding of the services you require. The assessor will listen to you, complete an assessment form, which gives a full picture of your requirements based on your needs, wishes, and preferences, including personal care and health needs, mobility, hobbies, goal, and aspiration. This information is then used to make your support plan, skill match the carers and to inform the care support worker of your needs.

Following the home visit, the client can review and revise the information provided and then make an informed decision about whether they want to go ahead with the service. All clients are provided with a service user guide and a service agreement at the commencement of the service. We accept Direct Payment, cheque, PayPal, and all major debit and master cards.

Our services are tailor-made to meet your needs, giving clients the freedom to carry on their lives as normal as possible in the comfort of their own homes. Alomcare strives to offer an efficient and professional service which exceeds the expectation of our clients, promote positive outcomes while maintaining dignity, privacy, and respect at all times.

We have implemented electronic call monitoring systems that enable us to monitor the support workers’ and nurses’ arrival and departure time and alert us to any lateness or missed calls.
