Our services range from homemaking, gardening, cleaning, shopping, and companion care to personal care and nursing – everything from keeping your company and helping with light housekeeping to administering medications and changing dressings on wounds. We also offer our caregivers specialized training to work with people with special needs, Alzheimer’s and dementia care, end of life (palliative) care, diabetes care, and care to the elderly and frail. All of these services are available in your home or wherever you are living, at home, retirement home, or long-term care community.
Personal Care
Alomcare provides personal support for everyday activities such as getting in and out of bed, bathing and dressing, to oral hygiene or grooming. Our staff is trained to maintain client dignity and privacy by providing personal care -taking into account client wishes and preferences.
Companion Services
We provide caregivers that can live in your home for 24 hours or two 12-hour shifts depending on your needs. These caregivers understand your needs and can assist you with individualized activities such as visiting, playing cards, reading a book, or sharing a hobby. We can also help care for a pet or help you to access the community, accompany you as you take you for a walk, accompany you in a car.
Nursing
Our qualified staff is there to provide care in your own home away from a hospital setting.
Some of the duties our staff can assist with are administering medication, changing dressings, intravenous therapy, pain and symptom management, chronic disease management and therapy, foot care, ventilator care, and serious injury care. We provide services that allow peace of mind in your home.
Foot Care
We also have nurses who can provide advanced foot care. Regular foot care will significantly improve comfort, mobility, and the general health of your feet. This is particularly important for people with diabetes because regular foot care can prevent problems and assist in early identification and care if problems do occur.
Accompanied Visits
Our staff is available to accompany and/or transport your loved ones to personal or doctor’s appointments, religious or cultural events, shopping, or even an unplanned outing.
Pediatric Care
Alomcare can provide care for special needs children of all ages, from newborns through adolescence.
Respite Care with Caregiver
We providing relief for family caregivers – from a few hours a day to 24 hours care Our caregivers are trained to tend to the needs of your loved ones while you attend to other responsibilities and obligations, or just put your feet up and relax to allow you a well-deserved break. Should you want to take a holiday we can provide a caregiver to stay in your home with your loved one until you return – giving you peace of mind that your loved one will be well-taken care of.
Live-in Care
Live-in care can range from one day, a few weeks to long term care and support. There may be a time when you require constant support to remain in your own home. Our caregivers will provide you with the personal and domestic care, and the companionship you need on an ongoing basis.
Homemaking
This service provides assistance with the day-to-day tasks that are required in the upkeep of the client’s home, including dusting and cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
